Account Deletion

How Avahanaa users can request deletion of their account and app data.

Avahanaa provides an in-app account deletion option. Once you confirm the request in the app, deletion is processed immediately. You can also submit a deletion request outside the app using the email option below.

1. Request deletion outside the app

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to hello@avahanaa.com with the subject Avahanaa Account Deletion Request.

In your message, include the email address used for your Avahanaa account and, if available, your vehicle registration number so we can identify the correct account.

2. Steps to request account deletion in the app

  1. Open the Avahanaa app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Enter your current password.
  5. Confirm the deletion request.
Important: account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Data that is deleted

  • Your Avahanaa account record.
  • Your email address and stored phone number.
  • Your vehicle records.
  • Your QR code records.
  • Your in-app notification history.
  • Your stored push notification token.

4. Data that may be kept temporarily

Avahanaa does not intentionally keep your app-controlled account, vehicle, QR, or notification data after deletion is completed.

Some limited security, fraud-prevention, backup, or diagnostic logs handled by infrastructure providers such as Google Firebase may remain for a temporary period under those providers' retention policies.

5. Retention period

App-controlled deletion is executed immediately after you confirm the request inside the Avahanaa app.
